My wish came true... almost.

For the past 3 years in polytechnic..
all i wanted to do was...
to perform!

to loosen up.. had a chat with the emcee.. can't remember why i was smiling that wide though.. hmm...

i've been waiting for a chance..
for a moment...
even if itz just for a few minutes..
and i got it!!!
yesterday! for 10 solid minutes!

and here i am again.. smiling real hard..
hmm.. i tink at this point.. there were a lotta students walking by and..
they were mimicking me or sumthing..
and i could stop smiling.. trying not to laugh i suppose..

it was a last minute thing though. sharon managed to get me a slot. And i performed 'Sometimes' & 'Lucky'... and.. actually there was a major technical glitch at the begining.. and the song sounded all weird.. and i thought.. gosh.. its not what i think it is... but... fortunately... the DJ actually has a copy of the songs.. which are of much much better quality.. and so.. the performance continued on.. phew! and here's the ultimate pose..

almost 7 of it.. has it with me and my mouth 'muncung' like that... sheesh!

but.. even after all that..
i still feel a little bit disappointed..
and sad..
coz.. there are some people whom i've been longing to sing to..
just weren't there...
and i really hoped that they could come..
coz somehow...
there were some hidden messages to the songs that i sang..
and i wanna dedicate those songs to some people..
but.. too bad.. they just weren't there...

anywayz.. at least now i can say.. "i've been there. done that."

and to Janet..
itz been nice knowing you for the past 4 months..
glad to have shared the locker & the favourite corner seat with ya..
and thanks for coming over during hari raya.
