FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL ------------------------------
One word.
UNPREPARED!!!
Shouldn't have had that wild party last night..
Totally had a hangover this morning..
And on top of that my alarm didn't go off..
Meaning to say i was running LATE!!!
Mum banged my door at 7am.. which should have been the time for me to go out!!!
And my mind totally went kerazee..!
i've not prepared the clothes to wear..
I've not packed my bag.. oh wait.. i didn't even have time to buy a school bag!
No stationaries at all.. except for a blue pen.. which.. i took from my little bro..
So anywayz... went to the bus stop.. and.. within 15mins, 3 FULL buses went by..
so.. yea.. apparently everyone had decided to sleep an extra hour today..
gosh.. So yah..
got on the bus...
tapped the card..
and it showed "$6.66"!!!
Can you believe that??? GAWD!!!
Well i meam "6" is my fav number.. BUT.. If itz triple of that.. hmm..
Anywayz.. Upon reaching the interchange, i felt as though my jaw was about to reach the ground.. BECAUSE...
there these SUPER LONG QUEUES just to tap the card to the MRT..
Even the staircase was congested..
And i'm like thinking..
WHY MUST EVERYONE HAS A HANGOVER ON THE SAME DAY AS ME???!!!
And then... despite standing close to the edge of the plattform right in front of the door, i failed to get a seat..
AND...
"lucky" me.. i just had to stand behind these 2 business suit guyz, who were talking about women...
Here's part of it :
GUY 1 : Eh the girl we saw at the coffee house was not bad ah..
GUY 2 : YA! She's very pretty.. but like not very approachable lah..
GUY 1 : hm.. true.. well you know most girls that don't have the looks are very nice & approachable..
GUY 2 : Well ya.. i agree.. i guess itz the stereotype case ah..
GOSH! to think that i have to witness THAT so early in the morning!
AND... that wasn't it..
turned out.. that they were PROGRAMMERS!!!
So.. here we go again..
they were talking about codings..
programmings..
software...
AHH... WHY ME????!!!! omg.. What an exciting morning wasn't it???!!
But i'm still not done.. Reached Bedok.. and.. well.. the queue was relatively long but still quite alright.. And i reached class at 9.40am!!! but... lucky me.. the lecturer was nice about it.. perhaps.. itz the first day and all.. so.. yea..
And so.. lessons for today was ok.. manageable..
didn't get to meet the people that i've been wanting to meet..
although.. they did leave a couple of msgs & missed calls..
BUT.. somehow.. didn't feel like it today.. cause' i was still darn sleepy.. and didn't have a good start..
Was planning to go to work.. but cancelled it as dad had to do OT..
so... yep yep..
Manage to finally catch up on my cable tv programmes..
Watched 'THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS"
And there's this one particular conversation that portrayed how positive this character was.. During the job interview, Chris(Will Smith), was late for an important interview because the night before he had to spend the night at the police station as he didn't pay his summons.. And that before he was caught, he was actually painting his apartment.. And so.. he came to the interview that morning wearing his overalls with white paint all over..
Then at the end of the interview;
Boss : Chris, tell me what would you say if i were to hire someone who came to an interview without his shirt on?
Chris : *thought for a moment* Well.. he must have some really nice pants on..
And the entire room was filled with laughter!!! How i wish i could be as positive as that.. Oh well.. First day down.. so yea... School.. here i come!
